The Chamber of Commerce is in the process of compiling a Get a L.I.F.E. Volunteer/Speakers Bureau as a resource for educators of the Asheboro City and Randolph County Schools. These speakers would be asked to come into the classroom to help present on certain topics to help connect learning to real world experiences. Those participating will decide how much time they want to commit to this so there is no time expectations. At the bottom of this page is a form to sign up as a Get a L.I.F.E. Volunteer/Speaker. There are also several other opportunities for volunteering in the schools that you can mark your interest.
These companies and individuals have already signed up to participate.
